owner wasn't sure how many years since the last change (but knew it had been at least 10) although she only averaged around 4 K per year during that time. The car was kept outside in Pennsylvania for the majority of that time. The cam and crank seals were leaking so I'm glad I opted to change the timing belt, tensioner, tensioner stud, etc. but the belt looked brand new...no teeth missing, no cracks, dry rot, etc. After seeing that, I'm going with Bernie on the age not being a factor (at least not a big one in my mind).
